Silver Sands main car park at the beach is also good as couples are getting braver now. Just keep looping between the lighthouse and the main buildings.

Black sands beach is superb and plenty of good bins for poopscoops. I feel that 10pm is a bit late to be walking your dog, especially in winter. And remember - no dogs allowed on the beach in the summer time.
